Artist's Notes

"This is the Venus and Cupid statue from the promenade in Morecambe, a modern sculpted mosiac artwork by Shane Johnstone. This original artwork stands as a monument to all those who have perished at sea. I knew I wanted to photograph the statue, but was keen to present my own interpretation of the sculpters work. I consider this shot to tell its own story of the sculpture and stand as something other than and illistrated reproduction of the original."

This photograph is available in two mediums, the first is a Fine Art Giclee Print which is sent ready for mounting and framing. The second is upon a Stretched Art Canvas, which is ready for wall hanging and in a limited edition of 500. Both options will be signed by the artist, Stretched Art Canvases will receive a certificate of authenticity. Sizes are given in inches.

There are no delivery charges to addresses in the UK, please allow 28 days for delivery.
